Course Description

Are you ready to take the next step in your firearms training career? Our Instructor Mentorship Program is designed to prepare individuals for certification as an NRA Instructor. This program provides the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to instruct firearm courses while prioritizing safety, proficiency, and responsible firearm handling.

Course Requirements

Possess basic firearm safety and shooting skills
Complete the Basics of Pistol Shooting Instructor-Led Training
Score a minimum of 90% on the exam
Pass the Pre-Course Qualification – Range Assessment

Pre-Course Qualification – Range Assessment

Fire 20 rounds at a 9-inch blank target from 15 yards
Standing, two-handed, unsupported position
Shots must fall within a 6-inch spread
Scoring: 3 points per hit within a ½” border of the target
Target may be divided into two 10-shot or four 5-shot sequences
Two requalification attempts allowed within 24 hours
You may use any firearm of your choice
